Join Bo for Kanab’s annual 9/11 remembrance on Friday morning.
A 21-gun salute at 9:11am on Friday, Sept. 11, will mark Kanab’s 25th anniversary remembrance of 9/11, followed by a 3.43 mile memorial walk.
The ceremony, conducted at Kanab Fire Station #1, is presented by the American Legion honoring all those who were lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Afterward, firefighters will begin walking 3.43 miles to honor the 343 fallen firefighters who died at the World Trade Center. The public is invited to attend the remembrance and join the annual walk, whose route begins and ends at the fire station.
